The use of gesture interaction in virtual reality (VR) is growing rapidly, but gesture performance can vary significantly between users.

To better understand these differences, researchers need larger and more diverse datasets than are currently available.

The GG VR project group addresses this challenge by developing VR games that record and analyze user gestures during gameplay. Using a “research in the large” approach, the project aims to gather extensive gesture data from many users in an engaging and scalable way.
