Learning Targets:
The students:
• write their own scientific paper in the field of health economics;
• are able to discuss and jointly solve their own and other students' subject-specific questions in plenary sessions.
Literature:
The overarching theme of the seminar is "Inequality and Health". This will be explored through various subtopics, for which the seminar papers will be written in the form of an empirical work or a literature review.
Methods of Assessment: Seminar paper
Formalities:
• Writing a seminar paper and participation in a block seminar;
• Length of the paper: 20-30 pages, 70% of the grade;
• Duration of the seminar presentation: usually 20-30 minutes, 30% of the grade.
