Discover how materials shape the future of technology! 🌍✨
This course explores the fascinating world of materials for high-temperature and lightweight applications — from the metals that keep jet engines running to the alloys and composites that make cars and aircraft lighter and more efficient. You’ll dive into the mechanical and physical behavior of materials like aluminum, magnesium, titanium, and nickel alloys, and gain hands-on experience using GRANTA EduPack to select the perfect material for real-world engineering challenges.

Participation in the lecture "Materials Selection - Wear and Corrosion Resistant Materials" from the summer semester is NOT a prerequisite for attending this course.

Lectures and exercises will take place in the room MC 327 in presence. Both the Lecture and the Exercise will be in English.
